The technical reviews are well covered on many photography specific pages but I have to say that on many occasions Ive left my DSLR at home and taken a compact to save lugging a zoom lens around. At just a tads wider than the theoretical standard lens for 35mm ** , this makes your DSLR much easier to pack and carry when just straight forward pictures are needed. Good quality results so far and I can shoot RAW on the DSLRs which my compact wont do. ** in 35mm terms this is a 38.4mm lens

Es magnifico. Ya tenía el 50mm 1.8 que es idóneo, también, para fotografía callejera y de retratos, pero este 24mm es mas versátil para llevarlo siempre en la cámara y realizar estupendas fotografías callejeras. Es muy luminoso y ligero y permite hacer fotografías que captaran más campo visual. Este objetivo es perfecto para llevar de viaje, por su ligereza, y para tenerlo puesto siempre para cualquier foto que quieras hacer y además te permite fotografiar motivos más grandes. A destacar su presteza, nitidez y su silencioso motor.

Has severe against the light issues

Highly recommended for anyone with a crop body Canon, optically superb and super tiny. This is the equivalent of the 22mm on the EOS M mount and should have the same spectacular reputation. Its better than many lenses that cost far more.

This is a fantastic little prime lens at a great price. It goes brilliantly with my new Canon 100D - being short and unobtrusive they balance out really well together. And its perfect for street photography !!!
