Canon MP480 All-in-One Photo Printer

I just had it for like 1 month and likes it a lot. Its easy to set up and use. I scan important document often and the scan quality is good. As for printing, the quality is good for a non-laser printer. Cons: 1. May be not very ink-efficent. I just used it for like a month and the user interface on the machine told me theres only half left for my black ink. 2. Doesnt come with a usb cable. I dont know if this is true for all printers in US. In my home country I bought a printer and it comes with usb cable by default.

I have had this printer for several years. I am amazed how long it lasts without giving problems. Just recently, the only difficulty is that is not compatible with Windows 10. So, in other words, my all-in-one Canon worked fine until... the arrival of Windows 10. Anyway, it seems that there is a solution and I am going to find out tomorrow from Canons technical support. If I get a solution I will edit my post to share the solution. I just wanted to finally write a well deserved good review for this good product.

I owned the canon mp240 and it broke but I had a ton of ink left so I decided to get the 480. Ive only used it a handful of times but it works great. I thought for the price, you cant beat it.

Wonderful printer. Still going strong after 5-6 years. Easy to use. Highly recommended.

I like the printer, but we aware that replacement ink is quite expensive - about $50 for both. They cannot be refilled and Ive found no generic replacement available.

I purchased this to replace a Lexmark all-in-one and I couldnt be happier. The quality of photos and everyday printing is very sharp. The only drawback is a warm up period when first turned on, but after that all flows well.

I just using it as a scanner. It has the best function Ive never seen before which can scanner a book as one pdf fire and just using one button.

I like my printer very much. The quality of print is great and color is excellent. It does a good job on envelopes including feeding multiple envelopes. It does seem to use a lot of ink, but I guess thats the price you pay for the quality printing.

Giving me an error code telling me ink overflow is filled, disabling printer. Call to Canon support informs me no replacement part is available, cannot be replaced or emptied at home. Gave me a local authorized repair place that wanted close to the purchase price to repair it. No reset code is available to reset the unit. Their solution...well offer you a lower cost printer at a 10% discount. Not the fault of the support people, but in poor design. Very poor design, making an otherwise fine printer obsolete, forcing me to buy a new printer.

Im not kidding! This is the best little printer Ive ever seen. I previously owned a Dell. It was several years old, and the print jobs were just not up to par anymore. I ordered this one, and when I printed the first pictures, I couldnt believe it. I wish I had ordered it sooner.
