I have tried compatible cartridges, compatible black cartridges have never been any good, some of the compatible color cartridges are acceptable, but the genuine Canon cartridges are the only ones to use. Expensive, but trouble-free.

Ink cartridge easy to install, works good. Prints well.

Used for home printing but still interested in the economy of the XL size.
