Paper is very thin - 20lbs and the tooth is soft. It is not stiff enough to pull a black line with a soft graphite pencil. Plus it has a noticeable texture which is hard to suppress. Sketching with a wet pen or pressing firmly with a pencil showed very clearly on the other side and made an impression on the next page.

I love sketching with pens, pencils and light markers. This is my new favorite sketchbook. The paper is nice and thick. It takes inks, graphite and marker great with NO bleedthrough and no depression on the following page. Also the pages are perforated which is nice, makes a nice clean edge if you want to remove page. Even framed one!

Great sketch book.

The Notebook in question is pretty sweet I can draw anywhere and it really helped me to further my artistic vision. I actually seem to have made my art look better and a lot more colorful which is what I needed. Plus I can take it anywhere obviously haha Good item :)
