It is what it is. Canson quality paper pads for oil and acrylic do exactly what you expect and would want. Just tape a page down to a board before painting especially with acrylics, and any damp medium as it will warp a bit.

Wonderful product at a great price made even better by the fact that I cut them into quarters to do smaller paintings. Thick feel and in practice. No bleed through, buckling, or tearing. Lovely to paint on.

I really like this paper. Its very smooth to paint on and seems to absorb even less than a primed canvas. Its becoming my preference for painting with acrylics.

I got it to have a smooth, non absorbent surface to paint on in acrylic. It is non-absorbent, but it is terrible to paint on because of the rough texture. One side is rougher than the other, but both sides are too rough.

This was a great purchase. I’m excited to begin painting again and these oil/acrylic sheets do not disappoint!
