Canvas Messenger Bag - Vintage Cross Body Shoulder Satchel

This bag fits all my needs. Large enough compartment to store gym clothing, books and other accessories. Use it for work and play.

Floppy and poorly appointed. There must be an academic thesis in the messenger-bag manufacturing industrys rife inability to include even one semi-competent office pocket in any of their bags as proof of the fallibility of market forces and supply-side economics (no, I will not buy your silly pen case like an adolescent). Buckle is of the designs that are apt to slip; we shall see. No padding on bottom to protect laptops. End/side pockets are all but useless, not unlike the velcro. Designed for looks and little else. Will use it until I throw it away for something better.

It’s a really heavy bag

Ordered for my husband so he had something for his MacBook to carry to work. It fits perfect, very sturdy and good size. He loves it!

Quality stitching, hangs nice, easy to adjust strap, nice fabric, very pleased.

The material of the bag is very sturdy, so is the color. However, this has been designed very poorly! What did the designer expect the external side pockets of the bag to be used for? They are so narrow and small that they are practically useless. Any designer with common sense would have provided larger side pockets externally to be able to hold a small travel size umbrella and a small water bottle. You can do neither with these redundant side pockets!

I got tired of wearing a backpack and liked the rugged, worn look and the simple functionality of the bag

Ive taken this bag in several camping trips this far.
