Really soft and both sides were awesome

These have been great for an extra layer in our cold PA winters. We use these over a fleece jacket and with a hat for transport to and from the sitter. It has definitely made me feel better on those single digit mornings! My only comment is that I dont think this will be with us for repeat winters as Id hoped based on the description. Our 15-month old was about 35 tall and 28 lbs, but the poncho was already not fully covering the arms as Id like.

This is the perfect gift for any baby to use in the stroller or car seat and will be used many years after too because of the size. We are going on Christmas hay ride next week and it will be awesome and snuggly.

So the thing I didnt love was that the sides are open, so basically traveling in and out of the car to a building there is no warmth because the wind will blow right through. I think they could design this poncho a little better so the kid is enclosed on the way in and out.
