Carhartt Unisex Adult Force Pro Backpack with 17-Inch Laptop Sleeve and Portable Charger Compartment, Grey, One Size

I looked all over trying to find a backpack with a laptop sleeve that actually fit my Laptop and that was durable enough for working in the field as I am an HVAC Programming Engineer. Figured Carhartt has always been known for tough material. Unfortunately this product doesnt do as advertised. I have a Dell G7 17 7700 lap top. Physical size is 15.68 x 11.42. As you can see by my pictures, I can make my lap top fit but it will only prematurely wear out the zipper and material not to mention putting unnecessary pressure on my laptop. Now I need to find another backpack

Ive been using this backpack many, many months; I use it as a gig bag for my band (and we work a lot). The headline says it all: Excellent Features, Excellent Materials, Excellent Craftsmanship- Excellent. I love it. No joke.

I am a travel nurse who works night shift ICU. This compact wonder carries paperwork, tools, lunch, snacks, my medicine and a sweater. Im 511 male and the fit is perfect. Well thought compartments mean I dont have to search when I need things. The lunch compartments holds sealed containers of food in an upright position.

Ive used the same Jansport bag for over 15 years. Yes you read that right. Its been a beast for me. But its finally on its last legs. Ive been looking for a bag to takes its place and stumbled upon this Carhartt bag. Gotta say Im so happy Ive found this one. Theres plenty of space for my 16 inch contractors clipboard. Space for a lunch bag and alot of other things. The organization pockets a plentiful. If youre not careful, youll forget which pocket you put things in. I like that. Haha. The durability is quite good. Ive been dropping this bag on the ground, banging it around, carrying it on one shoulder while its full and its seems to laugh at me and ask is that all you got? If youre looking for a tough work bag, school backpack or a bag you can travel with, I dont think youll be disappointed with this Carhartt backpack.

Im a railroad conductor and I needed a large durable backpack to consolidate my work items (i.e. coal dust and grease covered gloves) and my personal travel items (hygiene products, clean clothes, iPad, etc) into one bag to reduce my luggage without these items comingling. This backpack mostly fits the bill. Aside from wishing it was a tad larger, I have no complaints.

This is day two of using this backpack. I currently have a thin and light laptop, a charger for the laptop and for my phone, and a few pill bottles of vitamins and a medication in the bag. Contents maybe weight about 5lbs total, and this happens to the right shoulder strap after two days of use. Its been on a plane ride and a train ride, and maybe about 5 miles of walking. Im going to request a refund, but wanted to make everyone aware that this bad may not be worth the extra money over a cheaper brand.

Love it! Use it for school and have a lot to cary, and upgrading to this back back was the best division ever

Bough the bag in November due to always having great luck with Carhartt jackets, pants and bibs. Used the bag on two trips and found the fabric separating from where it is stitched to zipper. Looked at Carhartt website and it says they do not warranty bags. I do not recommend this pack.

Initially i gave it 5 stars. Its been a year plus and it has been my daily driver. Most of the backpack still looks brand new however the bottom started showing wear and tear. The plasticky part of the bottom of the bag started ripping on the right side which for a workhorse of a bag that its supposed to be i think its too soon! Also whish that laptop compartment had two zippers not just one. Overall bag is still amazing but a bit disappointed that its coming apart already.
