> 3 dayI complained to my eye doctor that i had severe dry eyes and he recommended that I take omega 3s. I tried the most popular and highly recommended brand it worked great. I took 6 a day. After awhile, it no longer worked and I one day when i opened the bottle, I noticed it smelled funny. I opened a new bottle and it smelled awful, also. I went to the health food store and returned it for a new bottle. I opened it in the store at customer service counter and it also smelled awful. So that is when I tried Carlsons Omega 3 fish oil. Fortunately, they passed the smell test and even better they solved my dry eyes once again. It is fortunate that I figured out the problem but I wonder about the quality and consistency of the other supplements I take that are for preventative purposes so I really dont know if they are working. I hope one day supplements are inspected and have to meet standards.
