I’ve only had this for a few months, after my Progressive melted the prong on my rv’s 30 amp cord. Yes, it did its job but I needed a quick, far less expensive replacement and this fit that bill. It gives more information than the basic Progressive EMS and shows reverse polarity insta y. Super important knowledge when plugging into a new shore power pole. So far, this unit is proving that you don’t have to spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars on a brand name.

This 30 amp rv surge protector comes perfectly boxed to protect it in transit and is ready to use right away. This is so necessary to prevent expensive damage to RV electrical systems. It is easy to use and read. We love this.

This is a sturdy, compact surge protector, and is smaller than other 30A Ive used with our Airstream. Build quality seems good, and the text and LEDs are very easy to read. I have no way to test its emergency functionality, but nothing in the design or build quality cause me to think its likely to fail.

It is only a 3 prong adapter. I needed a 4 prong adapter. Never saw any info on how many prongs. Didnt know the campgrounds needed a 4.
