Re: order confirmation #002-1659028-8439402. I am not very please with my overall experience and transaction. The original advertisement said the carriage house hardware would cost me $21.75 plus $4.68 shipping, for a total of $26.48. I thought this was reasonable so I clicked the buy now with one click button. The next notice came up and told me I had purchased the item for $76.75 ($21.75 plus $55.00 shipping and handling). This is very misleading and false advertising with no way to retract your order. I did try to email Amazon to cancel but had no luck. I was advised to contact the supplier which is Garage Door Parts from Hartford CT. In their web site I found a link to send them an email, which I did. I asked them to cancel my order as I had made it in error. I never heard back from them, other than to confirm my order. I am now in receipt of the carriage house door hardware and the final cost is around $86.00 Canadian. This is totally unacceptable and I will not be ordering further merchandise through Amazon or Garage Door Parts. The product ended up costing me over 3 times what it was originally advertised for. I considered sending the item back but that would end up costing me more money. What a scam!!!

Great quality, easy to install and they make a huge difference to the appearance of the garage doors.

I got these and had no clue what I was doing. It does take some common sense and measuring to determine where these should fit. All garages doors are different, so if you don’t know how to install these, ask a friend that has some knowledge and can assist you.

Nice product, great price. Some screws had some paint flaking off but not enough to distract from overall appearance.
