Yes, this bag truly does smell horrible but never fear! I washed mine in vinegar as recommended by another comment and it’s completely cured. It seems to be the lining that smells rather than the (fake) leather exterior, so I unzipped it all the way and put it inside out in a large mesh bag before washing on gentle with warm water. Used about a half cup of white vinegar. The bag is completely fine, looks exactly the same and doesn’t smell like fish or vinegar. A Christmas miracle!

Oh man! I was surprised about the amount of space this bag had. I had my blazer and 5 button up shirts in the garment compartment. Then I had riled it up and put 2 pairs of dress shoes, 3 slacks, 2 jeans, 3 shorts, 5 under shirts, socks, and underwear. And still had some room.

The bag smells so bad we put it outside for weeks. The second we bring it back in the whole house smells terrible. Its entirely unusable and the rating system takes advantage of people to prevent one star reviews for this by asking is its wrinkle free, is it good for travel, and so on preventing what would have been a lot of one star reviews. How does any of that matter if it smells so bad itll get your luggage removed from the cabin so passengers can breath...

This bag has won me over the last few months as Ive used it more for short trips. Its well built, holds 2 pant/shirt outfits in the zipper compartment easily and has room for more. Its a great size, not too big or bulky at all. My brother saw it and loved it, now he has one. I would recommend this product for weekend getaways or short business trips. Anything longer than 2-3 days, you would need a bigger bag.

Loved the idea of this bag, but it didn’t survive my first trip. As a previous reviewer said, if you plan to use it as a carry-on, I think it works well (tho the PU leather does have a slight odor). I checked the bag with the airline and the handle promptly ripped after the first flight when I retrieved it from baggage claim. So, prob a 4 star if you don’t ever plan on checking it…much lower otherwise.

This bag looks really nice but smells so terrible. Ive been airing it out on my porch for DAYS and it still reeks of fish! It literally smells disgusting. Im not sure how to get the smell out. I seriously cannot describe how horrible it smells. It smells like rotten fish had been sitting in the bag for weeks. If I touch it the smell remains on my hands until I was them. I am so disappointed because the bag looks really good! I cant dry clean it because its leather. EDIT: HERE IS HOW I FIXED THE SMELL- Okay so after writing this review I used a couple methods to try to get the smell out. I initially tried airing it out for several days and stuffed it with some scented dryer sheets and sprayed with extra strong febreeze. This did nothing. What worked was a combination of 2 things: washing with cold water on the delicates setting + hang drying, and using a water and lemon juice mixture on a paper towel to rub all over the leather parts of the bag. I guess the acidity of the lemon juice neutralizes that disgusting fish odor. I then sprayed some fabric freshener on the inside part of the bag. Washing it did not ruin the leather (picture is after washing, I think it looks fine). Its still drying, but honestly it looks exactly the same as before I washed it. I used non-perfumed detergent. Hope this helps!

The bag itself was great for traveling. It held my suit and other items as I flew to a wedding over the summer. When I first opened the package I thought the bag smelled somewhat funny, but thought nothing of it. When I arrived to the wedding, I found that the smell had not gone away, and if anything had gotten worse. I tried to air the bag out outside, and still could not get the smell to go away. The bag has since been returned. The storage was excellent, and aside from the smell I would use this bag again.

I have used the travel bag three times, and on the third travel time the zipper for side came completely out of the zip loop, so It can not be sipped up. I have tried to re align and get it back connected and will not reconnect. This was disappointing since the over all quality is pretty good.

The bag itself is amazing. I bought it for my Hunnie for Father’s Day and I would literally buy it for every man in my life. But it has this weird smell, like fish or seafood. And we can’t seem to get rid of it either. Bummer because it really is great.

I got this for my dad and it was his favorite gift! He loved how real it felt (I felt it too) and how high quality it looked 10/10
