> 24 hourA true classic G-Shock that should be in everyone’s collection. Indestructible and don’t have to worry about changing the battery since it solar, plus has atomic time keeping.

> 24 hourAmazing lightweight, rugged, super accurate solar watch. Been on the hunt for a replacement watch that wasn’t analog and needed something that didn’t need battery replacement, had superior water resistance, easy legibility and a backlight. I currently don’t care about the stop watch or timer functions, but having world time, and a bunch of different time zones to pick from was great. I’m in PST Zone and the watch was set to Los Angeles time zone and did not even need set up, showed the Correct date too. I had a hard time deciding between the 6 band solar and just the solar version, and I couldn’t see myself traveling across the country or world anytime soon so, the solar model fit the bill. Plus, if I ever traveled, all of have to do is select a preset time zone and it would correct for wherever I am in the world with a couple clicks of a button. I used to wear a W800H-1AV and it would constantly break after about a year of wear, so I upgraded to the solar G Shock. It’s no bigger than an Apple Watch or a Fitbit versa 3 and it’s lightweight and feels good on the hand. It has a better band than the W800H-1AV. I bought mine from the seller on Amazon ‘Forever Seconds’ out of Chandler Arizona. Order came super fast. Ordered March 28th, and showed up March 30th around 10am via UPS. Seller had the option for faster shipping and I paid extra for UPS 2nd day air. Otherwise the package would have been delivered estimated 7 days out. I’m really happy with the purchase and hope it lasts as long as some of the other G Shock owners. For $95.78 not including the extra I paid for shipping, this rugged SHTF watch is well worth the purchase.

> 24 hourBought my first G-Shock square back in 1988 when I joined the military. Went halfway round the world with me, went through immeasurable hardship, and made it home. I gave it to some boot who needed one, having moved on to a more full-featured watch. Now Ive bought this one; its got all of the updated functions that the 5610 does, just minus the Multi-Band 6, and it has the more neutral white pinstripe on the face rather than the red (which I prefer). Youd have to look closely to see that its not the super-basic DW-5600E, but it still has all the features. Great watch; I added Jays and Kays strap adaptors, and wear it on a NATO. The only downside is that the alarm/timer beeper is very quiet. I sometimes miss the alarms. If alarm volume is important to you, the GW-6900-1 is the way to go; its much more audible.

> 24 hourI dont know why they left that out. Mind-boggling. I do like watches with tough solar, though. Its a big upgrade from the days of gentle solar...

> 24 hourI think its the best G shock for small wrists ! or for any one who wants a smaller, more convenient but taught G shock. the resin wrist band in not the most convenient, and the watch light is white and coming from the side, and not green/blue light... apart from that its great watch. and you wont have to worry about replacing the battery for the next 10 years...

> 24 hourWork as expected. All that need for daily and trips - no unneeded functionality. Solar battery - minimum ten years without problems. One point - note timer doesnt have auto-repeat functionality. My watch lost nearly 11 sec in a month - its expected (+/- 15 sec/month by documentation) but wanted less :-).

> 24 hourI have owned 30+ watches and this one is the one I would choose if I could only wear one the rest of my life. Just an extremely useful watch. It does it all.

> 24 hourI just recently decided to spend the extra money ($20) on the updated G-Shock G-5600 series and was glad I did it too. The update completely improves the usability and legibility of the watch such as: *Stop watch/Count down timer mode now displays the current time unlike the previous module (3160). *The backlight is now full LED and the lume duration can be set at 1 or 3 seconds interval. The back light is a nice and bright. *Digits are easily readable under bright or low lighting conditions *Less excess strap wrap as it may have been shortened by a millimeter or 2 (unconfirmed) based on my experience with older models. *Adjust (A) button can be pressed without using external objects (pen tip, coin edge, etc). Model DW5600E was notorious for having a recessed Adjust (A) button thus rendering it useless. Also, I just want to praise the seller (Premium-Japan) for expediting the sale. I received the watch within less than a week (6 days) and a couple weeks ahead of the expected date listed on Amazon. The item included a nice handwritten worksheet that showed the seller did properly inspect the watch before sending it off to their customers. If youre on the fence about buying the newly updated version of this Tough Solar G-Shock, I highly suggest you do it because of the reasons Ive listed. The only criticism I have about this update is Casio didnt also increase the volume of the bell chime/alarm. Unfortunately, its still low but its not a show stopper.

> 24 hourArrived well ahead of schedule. Packed well, came with original tin box and paperwork. Super light, not too bulky. Solar option, so no battery replacement is a major plus. LED light for illuminating screen. Shock resistant so it can take a hit. Will serve as my new daily

> 24 hourAnda excelente, se siente muy bien en la mano. Se retraso solo con un segundo en 2 semanas. Un poco chiquito por mi gusto, pero igual me encanta mucho
