s with all Castle Forbes products, this cream is top shelf. Pricy, but very high quality. Of course determining if you like or dislike a particular smell is just a personal preference. What some like, others hate so I can’t know if this smell is for you or not. Me, I personally love this scent, it is one of my all-time favorites, but again, scents are just a personal preference. I can tell you the scent is very strong and jumps right out of the container as soon as you unscrew the lid. You will definitely be smelling it as you lather up your face and through-out your shave. The cream itself lathers up great/thick and goes on smooth and slick. Makes for a very nice shave. Very enjoyable experience. Note: For best results, be sure to follow your shave with Castle Forbes matching After-Shave Balm. Their Balms are amazing as well! No sting, dries smoothly, no greasy feel. Expensive? Yes. But very nice/soothing calming treatment for your face.

The Castle Forbes 1445 Shaving Cream is my favorite shaving cream. It gives me a clean shave and smells good. I highly recommend it.

I have tried all scents of Castle Forbes and I have to say that it is the best quality product on the market. To be honest I am not crazy about any of the scents, but this was my least favorite. The scent is a combination of fresh and musk that just does not work. Ill finish using it because it is expensive stuff, but it is back to lime after this is done. I wish Castle Forbes would create a new more modern scent because the product is excellent, it just falls short in smell.

Castle Forbes is the best shaving cream out there. The smell is a matter of personal taste, but all 4 work equally well and last a very long time. I just wish they had a minty/menthol version.

This shaving cream is as good as you will find. Looks expensive but its not because you need so little for gobs of lather. Castle Forbes is among the best. Try it!

This shave soap is phenomenal. Im sure the price may be a reason not to try it, but its definitely worth every penny. Very nice, clean, comfortable shave. Some reviewers have commented negatively about the smell, but in my opinion it reminds me more of a true barbershop than any of the other shaving products on the market that claim a barbershop scent. I will be buying this again!

Ive been a Castle Forbes user for several years, primarily lime. However, decided to try 1445 when I saw it released. I have no words; simply love it. Reminds me of TOBS shave shop which Ive not seen in years. An old fashioned, classic, classy scent. Oh yes, I should probably comment on the quality of the shaving cream as well for those not familiar with Castle Forbes. Quite simply, there is none better...none better; let me say that again, NONE BETTER. While it is possible Ive not tried them all, but Ive come close, nothing compares.

Great product! It seems to cost a bit more initially but the tub lasts quite a long time! My last container lasted 6 months! Treat yourself! You won’t go back to canned shaving cream ever again!
