> 3 dayI absolutely love bankline because it is super strong, resistant to the elements, and you get so much in a roll that you dont feel bad about leaving some behind. I know when I use 550 paracord, I always make sure to recover every last bit of it from my camp site before I leave because 550 paracord isnt cheap! LOL Bankline on the other hand, is pretty much disposable. Awesome stuff for the bushcrafter!

> 3 day350 test, thats strong. This is about 4 cents per foot vs 14 cents for paracord. ( based on 500 ft.) Never paracord again. This is much less expensive and easier to handle.

> 3 dayThis tarred line works great for limb lines for catfish. I assume it would work for just about any binding within reason. Only complaint is that the tar smell is quite strong but it doesn’t last too long.

> 3 dayLove this bank line! I keep a spool of #36 and I believe #9 or is it #6? I forget. The #36 is great for many projects that one might use paracord for depending on load.

01-06-2025I use this for bushcraft. Got the exact one I ordered. This is heavy duty and really grips against itself. The tar on it is good and seems to coat the whole way around. It was between this brand and sgt knots brand. I chose this one because some of the reviews said the sgt knots didnt seem coated the whole way around. This has that good tar smell but isnt so bad you can smell it from across the room unless you just opened it. Within a day it was toned down but you can still smell it when you hold it up to your nose.

> 3 dayI bought this to add to my bug out bag because of suggestions from others to an alternative to para cord. This has more then enough tensile strength, a huge roll, all for less price then para cord. i have not had a chance to use it yet but it does appear to be woven in a way that is prone to unraveling quickly when cut, most likely a knot or a lighter to the ends as soon as you cut it. this roll is about the size of a chipotle burrito.

05-06-2025I love this stuff. I recommend buying both the twisted and the braided, as they both have their own merits. The braided is stronger and won’t fray when cut. The twisted needs to be melted after cutting to prevent fraying, but it can be separated into individual strands for uses such as sewing and fishing. It’s much lighter than paracord, and because it is tarred, any knots made in it are very resistant to slipping. It works great in conjunction with a paracord ridge line. Just make some double fisherman’s loops with the bank line, attach it to paracord ridge line with a Prussik knot for a great slide and grip method of suspending a tarp. Highly recommended
