CatGuru Food Table (Purple)

My cat is just about 18, later this month. Only started realizing how helpful a raised dish (not this platform - a simple ceramic bowl, at first) would be - only a handful of years ago. Made a huge difference for his comfort right away. Would be true for ANY age cat or dog, even though the realization took me many years, until he was older. He has only ever eaten his wet food off a plate, never a bowl. Call us all crazy, but he too is a creature of used to be, has to stay. He wont even try to eat his wet food from a bowl, nor from a stainless steel or ceramic plate surface. Got used to the disposable plate situation I started with him almost a couple decades ago. POINT IS - this raised platter perfectly raises his plate to an ideal and comfortable level and keeps it absolutely secure from moving, without impeding his access at all. Once again, the relief for him was instantly obvious. Its not a porous or bendable type plastic material. Completely sturdy and So easy to clean and keep it that way. And for our purposes, the grips on edge of the platter are the perfect size to hold the bottom diameter of the plates I use for his canned food. No slipping or moving around at all. Just a really helpful product. EXTRA HELPFUL INFO ABOUT RAISED DISHES: It didnt take long before I realized the benefits of additional feature of the ceramic type individual raised bowls- I replaced initial bowls with almost same, but newly designed with a lipped inside edge which helps him scoop up each piece. Never having to deal with a little piece of food scooting along the dish, bowl, or plate - as he attempted a few times to pick up just one piece sometimes.

I have 3 cats, 2 with respiratory issues. I noticed when they ate I could hear them snorting through eating. I thought that their air passages might be compromised by being hunched over their bowls. So I ordered 3 of them and they do seem to help. Not a lot, but they seem happier. My only complaint is I ordered 3 blue ones and only got

It works well enough with the CatGuru bowl, and can be thrown on the dishwasher to clean. One complaint is that our cats wet food always gets pushed off the metal bowl and into the gap between the bowl and the stand, where she cant reach to eat. Not sure if thats a flaw of this stands design, or the bowl, or our cats eating habits.

Costs a little much, but seems to be a quality piece. Perfect height for my cats bowl.

This is a very practical product and my Maltese appeared to be comfortable using it. My problem is, food drops down between the inside edge of this and the outside edge of the bowl that is recommended.

My kitty has short front legs so we alternate to give him a break from different positions. He loves both ways of eating so I just use it as a tool to keep him from becoming a knot from too much crouching etc

As a first time cat owner, I’ve learned that cats need to have elevated food dishes to help with digestion. This food table is perfect. We can just put the food dish we have on top of it. It was affordable and a pretty purple color.

This is perfect is used with CatGuru plates. I have other plates and it wont fit. But its very good for the cats. Price is good, I looked around for these and they were pricey.

Overall a great food bowl stand! I use the CatGuru food dishes & water bowl as well, so these pair perfectly as they’re made to fit together. My only complaint is that one of the stands I have has started to peel around the bottom edge, not sure if this is a common issue or if it’s defective, as it’s only the one bowl that’s having this issue.
