CatGuru Food Table (Sand)

These are great. They look nice and my cats loved them - it really seems to make them a little more interested in eating, and I hope it helps with digestion. A little pricey, but so far so good!

Stand doesnt slip on the floor and the cat guru bowl stays put on the silicone pad. Good accessory to have.

It would only take a short product test for the designers to see the greatest flaw in this product is that the food is easily pushed off the the plate! It would only take a scoop back design to fix this. I get it is supposed to protect a cats whiskers but if there was a scoop higher back ( which I bought one for each of my cats and a lot of the food ends up Behind the bowls!) They would not be able to push it over the plate but in fact would have a support to help when eating! I will either return this or buy a plate guard to keep the food in the bowl. On the plus it is easy to clean and sturdy...I dropped one on a tile floor and not even a crack! Fix the spillage issue and this will be perfect!! I only gave it a 2 because I have to now order an extra product to make this work optimally.

I have had cats all my life and I never realized that there was such thing as whisker stress. This raises the cat dishes to a better height for cat dishes. My cats throw up less after eating and dont drag food out of their dishes anymore. I bought these in conjunction with Cat Guru matching cat dishes. Sure, it cost a little more . . . BUT . . . . the quality is excellent. I no longer have to regularly replace chipped cat dishes. They wash excellent. A good product.

I know these may appear to be expensive for a cat bowl but my cat (who is anxious) eats and doesnt throw up food. When he eats he seems calmer (doesnt spook) when me or my husband walk by while hes eating. For that reason alone I give it 5 stars.

This food table really does help.. even better if used with the CatGuru slanted food bowl as well. The colors are so cute too. My cat used to throw up a lot while eating, so using the slanted bowl and food table keeps her more elevated and has reduced her throw up to minimal. Its just better overall on their joints as well. Also, the CatGuru bowl helps with whiskers fatigue and has reduced the amount of food she picks out and eats on her mat instead of directly out of the bowl. This is perfect if you treat your kitties like the nobility that they are. Getting their food off the floor is really helpful for their digestion and these work perfectly. Love the little rubber grips on the bottom as well as the mat for the inside, works perfectly with the stainless steel dish sold by CatGuru so that your feline friends dont get kitty acne from the plastic dishes commonly sold. Love this and its counterpart the stainless steel dish with ribbing and nice round shape so whiskers are not touched.

I love CatGuru products! They make really unique, sturdy and practical cat items. The litter scoop holder and this food table are my favorite. I have 3 of the food tables now, and use them for water bowls around the house and at mealtime for food. The height is great to aid eating posture and digestion. They feel sturdy and thick and are easy to wash. They also look simple and nice enough to keep out all the time. I use rubber bottomed non slip stainless steel bowls with them. They don’t slide around while the cats are eating and they help catch crumbs. I did tons of research looking for the best raised food bowl option for one bowl (my cat doesn’t like to drink water next to her food, and the double feeders are so large), and this is it! It’s so convenient to leave this on the floor and use whatever bowl I like with it then just have to pick up and clean the bowl at each meal.

Cute & sturdy. Seems/feels really well made. Really well thought out. Absolutely love the color. Even the packaging was adorable. Totally easy to lift and move around because of the notches on the bottom (I need to follow my cat around with her food to ensure she eats enough). And the little rubber feet help keep it from moving around while my cats eating. I picked up the anti-whisker-fatigue bowls, and they fit perfectly. The tables lip/edge lets the bowl nestle nicely on top and keeps it from moving around. Unfortunately my cat pulls back as shes chewing, so I have to keep lifting the bowl so I can pull out the pieces of kibble and put back in her bowl. But thats not a design flaw - just a cat being a cat.

I have the Dr. Catsby bowls for wet food, but my cats like dry food on regular saucers instead of in any other cat bowl Ive tried. The saucers were slipping around on top of the food tables, so I cut an old yoga mat up to put on top first. Hey, presto...works great. Happy cats! The food tables already have rubber on the bottom to keep them from slipping around on the floor.
