I dont normally take the time to review but my whopping desire for wine and the convenience of having a couple of extra hooks lying around brought me back to want to say how good they are. The wine opening test just solidified how well-connected the hook is to the screw part, which might just be the same piece of metal but its likely just one piece of metal. These hooks are pretty sturdy and have been holding up my mugs and even a small pot and pan for a year now. Upon installation, make sure to of course drill at a noticeably smaller size than the size of the screw otherwise you wont have any tension in the screw threads and that kind of defeats the purpose. Also yes my mugs are bad Pokémon puns sue me.

I wanted to hang a lightweight decorative votive holder in an arch in my hallway. I ended up with a big hole! Since the arch is plasterboard and not solid wood these wont work so I am returning them. With that said, this is not an issue with the hooks, it is the construction of the archway that is at issue. The hooks were very well made and would work perfectly when placed in solid wood. The seller was excellent about communicating with me and refunded my money. I would definitely order items from this seller in the future.
