Centon USB 2.0 Pro (Grey), 4GB

Needed a few small capacity USB drives for use with Subaru firmware updates. Centon was listed as a recommended brand in the Subaru TSB and had outstanding reviews. Drives received very quickly, however half of them were not recognized as storage by anything in the shop. Had coworkers try on personal laptops and same deal. Emailed Centon support (csupport@cxxxx) for help, but have not heard back from them and its been over a week since initial contact. I gave up working with Centon and started a return with Amazon. I realize product defects can and do happen, but Centons customer support seems MIA. I cannot recommend these drives or Centon as a company. If you are storing critical or important data on these, please make backups.

So I NEEDED 4 gigs of space. Now heres the catch. -When you buy a 4 gig flash drive, apparently you arent buying a 4 gig flash drive. You are buying 3 gigs and change. Even though it is advertised as being a 4 gig drive. Makes NO sense to me!! So in my mind, I did not get what I thought I was paying for, and it was useless to me, and I had to buy another one, and this was just a waste of money. These products should be advertised correctly.

More than I expected from the price. I prefer the cap to the pivot kind, keeps out the dust better. Completely satisfied.

I have one of these. I used it once and it worked. Id only use it to transfer pics or docs that were already backed up on something else. Look if you cant get this in 2014 for under $5.00 dont get it!

Bought this brand new for a transfer of Xbox games. Transfered about half of the games and decided it didnt want to be recognized. only had it for 1 day. 1 Day. Horrible Produt. DO NOT BUY...YOU WILL LOSE ALL YOUR INFORMATION.

Lots of storage for a good price
