Needed to retrofit multiple Pigtail power Cables on CCTV cameras after someone had removed the original camera Pigtail and the BNC CCTV cable Pigtail and hardwired. I wanted to be able to quickly swap out old CCTV cameras with new CCTV camera by simply disconnecting the RJ59 connector and the power cable (pigtail) without cutting the new camera power cable, re-stripping the CCTV cable power lead, re-twisting all four leads and re-securing. To that end they work. Technically, both solutions work and both solutions have advantages and disadvantages. I installed 8 pairs without issues. Pro - simple, inexpensive, works and easy to retrofit Con – unsure about long term reliability or durability

Wire ends already tinned and wires thicker than most. Snugger fit than others. Ive used one out of the pack and it works great! Im not sure how sheerness applies here in their rating questions.

Disliked the fact that the wiring is ASA 20 gauge, not ASA 18 gauge. I would not buy this connector again to carry 12V power.

The thickness of wires awesome not too thick but just enough and the soldering the wires to whoever connection get hold them up to is awesome

All bare ends were tinned and the connectors are securely attached. I bought these to bypass the 12v transformer so I could connect the light to my solar powered battery instead of using the AC plug.
