Does exactly what its supposed to do. It worked in China and Singapore. This is nOT a voltage converter, which is fine, because phones and laptops convert voltage on their own. If youre going to use blowdryers and flatirons, RIP your entire hotel. Good luck with that. This is not for that. This is perfect for family trips, as it has a plug in front and two plugs for USB cords. It is not, however, perfect if youre rooming with a jerk who unplugs your stuff to charge their own.

Purchased this for a 3 week vacation in Cape Town. It was a big hit amongst my traveling buddies because no one else thought to bring an adapter. It was in use approx. 20 hours per day. Make sure you check country code - for the specific country you are visiting. As for Africa, it is huge- and has at least two difference adapters for two different regions.

Charged cell phones in Austria...was afraid to use it with hairdryer

It worked great for 1 day. Then it died and none of the ports work. I only used 1 usb port.

This adapter worked perfectly and was just what we needed. The price was right and it was nice to have the USB connections right on the adapter.

It’s great that it has 2 usb chargers.
