These are some really neat designs! For the price point, they are great. They’re plenty durable and I love that they’re dishwasher and microwave safe. I’ve gotten to the point where I won’t buy anything that isn’t… I’ll be honest, I thought they were going to be bigger! I was hoping to use them for everyday meals, but I guess I overestimated how big 12 oz is… If you intend to use them for that purpose, definitely go with the 30 oz bowls. The 12 oz is more of a size for condiments or single to double person side dishes. Nevertheless, it was my mistake for misinterpreting the size. Because of that, I don’t think it’s necessarily fair to take off a star. They designs are really cool, which is the main reason I got them. I’ll probably get the bigger ones soon and it’ll make for a nice set!

Beautiful vibrant colors and unique designs each bowl different.

These desert bowls really are beautiful and they are a nice size for desserts or breakfast cereal. Ive put them in the dishwasher with no problems. They are sturdy and I believe they will be in use for quite some time. Im going to buy some plates to go with them for pies, etc.

Perfect size. Love the colorful design. Find we use them for everything from cereal to ice cream and rice dishes. Durable. Great in dishwasher and microwave.

Since I tend to read reviews compulsively before purchasing items, I want to share my honest feedback about products so that others can make informed decisions. I hope you will find this review helpful. These bowls are even more beautiful in person. The colors are vibrant and the patterns are crisp and clear. I love their smaller size-- perfect for portion control. These days, so many plates and bowls are so enormous, its no wonder obesity is practically an epidemic. As beautiful as they are, these bowls also seem more delicate than our other hefty and inexpensive IKEA basic beige sets. Given their fragility, I think we will consider these for grown-up use only and continue to have the kids use the easily and cheaply replaceable basic beige bowls.

Unfortunately, the glaze around the lip is not smooth on two of the six bowls.

These are the perfect size for me to enjoy a hot bowl of soup on a rainy day. They were packed very well and arrived in perfect condition. They are also very, very pretty.
