> 24 hourThese standard 5.5 x 2.1mm connectors mate with other brands of that size easily, yet they are noticeably larger overall and appear more heavy-duty than any others ive seen before. The female connector for example is over 4mm longer and almost 2mm wider than the less expensive ones i use most of the time. The male connector is similarly larger than its lower-priced brother. You dont often need one of these to carry 5A, but these should do it easily intermittently, and while i havent tried it yet, maybe even continuously. Theyre well-built, high quality, and seem intended for real heavy duty use. Ill update when i have further real data to add.

> 24 hourThese are very easy to work. They have a solid connection and no slop when in use. Ive built a bunch of extensions for my multimeter and for my power supplies. Makes change overs so much quicker & easier.

> 24 hourThese are well made connectors that I bought for replacing the power supply connectors used for my LED experiments. I deducted a star because not all the barrels have the same amount of hold (friction/tightness). They vary on some connectors.

> 24 hourIve been using similar connectors for a decade, but recently they all changed to a new design that doesnt work with thin wires and doesnt hold large wires securely. THESE are NOT the same junk that is seemingly identical in every similar product listing... the openings arent blocked by the clamping strip, the barrel metal is thick, and the set screws seem not to strip out. If any of that changes as I use more of them, Ill update this review.

> 24 hourthis connector works well once its hooked up - my only complaint is the holes for wires are tiny and too close together - I had to wrap tape between to keep the sparks from arcing - other then that they handle36 - 48 volts without burning

> 24 hourI needed a quick interface and this not only had the male but female WHICH turned out I needed both by accident. The battery backup for my CPAP said 5.5mm and this was the ticket. HOWEVER, the input for the solar charger was slightly smaller than the 5.5, more like 5.4 - I suspect they wanted to use a proprietary plug to sell their panel. I cut off one of their charging interfaces that fit the input and spliced it to my female plug, which in turn was one of the male plugs to the bare wires from the panel. Had some Harbor Freight shrink wrap and tradaaaaaaaa. works great. put some paired spares taped the underside of the panel for future problems and off to the races. DELIGHTED.
