This item advertised as HOURS PLAY:Large capacity battery built in the playstation 3 controller.It can run up to 8hrs of continuous play. is false advertising because the controller only has a 400mAh battery. The standard Sony PS3 controller has a 570mAh battery and replacement batteries are 1800mAh. Most other PS3 controllers indicate 4-5 hours which is accurate. I regret not purchasing the advertised 600mAh controllers which is 50% better than this one and may support 7-8 hours of gaming. The product description is false purporting the battery would last 8 hours as a double shock PS3 controller. With the low battery of 400mAh, that duration of use (not stand by) is impossible. Im returning these (two in package) and lodging a complaint with Amazon for false representation.

Lightweight. Works if you still have a PS3.

Well, one problem. Randomly the refined joysticks stop working, and there is drift, but to fix you need to plug it into your PS3 console.

I ordered these controllers after researching a lot. I was skeptical. Assuming they would not be that great because the price was so good. I have had them for over a month. They not only look cool (kids love them) they are perfect. No problem with function or battery time. We are very satisfied.

These controllers work as well as any other after market controllers Ive used. Its a little weird to have to connect them by USB to get them to work wireless, but once its connected, they start connected just fine. I also like the rubber covers for the thumb sticks.

I was hoping these would actually work but not the case. They randomly disconnect from my ps3, but it doesnt pause the game. It just stops functioning, so in racing games Ill just slowly come to a stop while my friend keeps going and no buttons work. I have to have my friend pause the game and then try a million things to get the controller to turn off and then on again, and it will still surely not be the last time it stops working mid play during that game. Oftentimes Im unable to use the controller while its plugged in to charge, the lights will flash showing its connected but there is no response (the controller does not get assigned) when you press the PS button. The thumbsticks get stuck without it being obvious from the outside (like not stuck to the side but still affecting your movement in a game) so I constantly just quit games that need precise movement which makes me so mad. Seriously, dont waste your money.

These controllers seem confused and often. They don’t function fully. Don’t mistake the buttons for the original controllers. They have Different symbols (which they say they do). Thought my son would think they are cool. He likes the design but not the buttons.

Brought for bf, first controller didn’t make it through the night as he smashed it due to controls constantly getting stuck. Second one had been holding on strong for last month, fingers crossed

Ive seen so many mixed reviews online on these controllers battery life is bad but the quality is bad not its not worth it let me tell you for under thirty bucks two controllers and they come with analog protectors or Crips or whatever you want to call him and the charging cables I am box these sink them right up which took less than 2 seconds with my PS3 for the quality the price and how fast I got to my house very very impressed if it comes down to it I will be buying two more in the other cool designs they have and just think its cheaper and just as good if not better that are regular Sony PlayStation 3 controller I do recommend this controller to anyone who is looking for cheaper controller with the same quality as a Sony controller
