Chessex Borealis: 7Pc Maple Green/Yellow

They are really glittery! And I love the green color with the copper colored glitter. But the yellow ink was so horrible that I finally broke down and re-inked my set with a copper metallic glitter pen. Now theyre fabulous, but minus one star for the yellow ink and the effort I had to put in to fix that.

One of the things about Maple is that they use the old style glitter Chessex no longer has access to, which makes them VERY SPARKLY. But it comes off similar to the Magenta in that its very chunky and tends to linger at the surface. So there are other Borealis dice that are way more attractive, and I dont know what they were thinking with the yellow ink.

I love the deep green color and the chunky sparkles. I purchased multiple sets andgot rid of the yellow ink. I repainted in copper and silver. Here are the dice I re-inked in copper.

Arrived in nearly perfect condition, just one small mark on one die where it was separated. They roll and read great.
