I LOVE ChiaoGoo circular needles. These 16 needles are just the right size for hats for little ones. The stainless needles and the nylon coated stainless wire are so smooth. Yarn doesnt cling or need to be tugged around the circle. These have a slight bend in them which makes them a bit easier on the hands. Someday, Ill have and entire set of these!

I really love how SHARP pointed these needles are. I like these better than the Addi needles, and feel like theyre just as sturdy. They work great.

I bought these needles to replace some wooden Lantern Moon needles. The needles have a slight bend in them which makes the circle easier to handle. I started with my Addi Clicks but the needles were so long that it felt really awkward. I switched to the Lantern Moon which are lovely to look at but the join between the needle and the cord was terrible. None of the stitches would slip so it slowed me down. The ChiaoGoo are everything I want in a circular needle. The tips are just a bit blunt so they dont split the yarn. The needles have a slight bend so the resulting circle feels very natural. The stitches slip right over the join between the needle and the cord. I highly recommend these needles.

This needle has the bent tips, which simply don’t work for a 16” needle. I found it nearly impossible to use--very awkward at best. I had to rip the decrease part of the project because the stitches were so loose due to the difficulty of doing the decreases with the bent points. I’ve ordered another needle and will toss this one with pleasure in spite of only using it once.

I love these needles. Theyre really sturdy and not heavy at all. I personally like the fluidity of metal needles over wooden needles so if you like friction when you knit then perhaps these might not be for you. I have a rabbit at home who LOVES to chew any type of wood so I have to get metal needles and I think the stainless steel is a lot better than the popular aluminum alternative because i can knit faster.
