> 3 dayI have three sock needles and this is my favorite. I am not a fan of chiaogoo interchangeable needles but I love this fixed needle it’s smooth. The cable has the quality chiaogoo is famous for and the needles are nice and long perfect for socks

Greater than one weekUnfortunately, I still dont LOVE knitting socks, but these needles are top notch. Incredibly smooth join. Wonderfully flexible cable. I have zero complaints about these needles! They make knitting socks bearable. If you love knitting socks, you will probably love these even more!

> 3 dayIve only been knitting for a couple of years but I very quickly learned the type of knitting needles I prefer. I tried several brands before I discovered ChiaoGoo Red Lace Circular needles. They are the only brand of needle I use. I dont use the type with separate needles and cords so I have no experience with them. I use the type with needles permanently attached to the cords. These are very high quality! The needles are smooth and a good length and the cords are not too stiff. They are very comfortable and easy to use. I highly recommend the ChiaoGoo Red Lace Circular needles.

Greater than one weekSuper slick, not too pointy and the cord is HEAVENLY!!! I did wipe the needles and cord off with alcohol before using as suggested by another review. This removed whatever finishing product is on them and they glided through my knitting without hesitation. Beautiful needles!

> 3 dayI purchased this needle to knit socks and while the craft of the needle is great, the cord is not the best for sock knitting. It is not flexible which makes knitting on finger-weight yarn a little more challenging. I will not use this needle for knitting socks. If you are new to knitting, be sure and purchase a 40 cord as that will give the knitter a more room when knitting in the round. Honestly, I would like to return the needle and purchase another brand.

> 3 dayWhile it is true that these needles arent going to kink up on you from being stored coiled, they do have a memory in that they really want to stay straight. The cable does flex when you cause it to, but it is always wanting to pop back into a straight position if youre not holding it which can cause some stitches to stretch if theyre on either side of a turning point in your cable, like when knitting socks. Just make sure you have long enough cable that the stitches wont be too close to a turn very often. Otherwise, these are very nice needles and I can see them lasting a very long time.
