ChiaoGoo Red Lace Circulars are the only circular knitting needles I use. The cord never twists or kinks, even straight out of the bag. The points are very sharp, precise and smooth. Excellent for general knitting as well as lace. You cant beat them for price. Fantastic product.

I’ve bought many Chiaogoo needles over the years and loved them, but when I opened this package tonight to knit the ribbing on a sweater, I noticed the stitches kept snagging. There are several rough spots in the cable. Very disappointing as I used to trust this brand.

It is always worrisome to buy such things sight-unseen, but I had no choice. I want to tell anyone who is considering this not to worry. It is a wonderful circular needle! The points are small and smooth and the wire is terrific- it does not retain the loops from the packaging as so many round needles do. I will buy more needles from this company! Also great as part of a blocking system! (Still waiting for the wires I have ordered and prefer wires to pins.)

If you like a fine point youll love these needles! No more split yarn. Point can be a little sharp but the precision is worth the risk.

Chiaogoo needles are great. The cord is smooth and joins the needles smoothly and the needles themselves are well machined and polished. A quality needle knits faster and maintains tension better. Well worth the money even for beginner knitters.

The cable is the the most flexible and forgiving that Ive tried. The tips are nicely pointed and have a gradual taper vs. a shorter taper or too sharp or too dull of a point. This perfect tip helps to make knitting smoother and easier, while also helping to prevent splitting yarn when knitting quickly or on tight cross over stitches, like a cable, etc. Ive quickly become a collector of this brand.

I love these needles but I get sent a US 1 (2.25mm) needle instead of the US 3 (3.25mm) needle that I ordered. I ended out just keeping the US 1 needle since I needed to replace my old one anyways. Just means my project will be delayed a few days until I receive the correct size.
