Childrens Flatware Kids Silverware 6pcs Set - Toddler Utensils

Like most families, we had the munchkin and Gerber plastic flatware sets as my boys were learning to feed themselves. But sadly, my boys did not listen and refused to stay small, so they quickly outgrew the old sets as well as they wanted to be like Mommy and Daddy and use metal sets. So i looked around and found these about a year ago for my oldest. He LOVED THEM. They have kept up very well being used daily and washed in a dishwasher. So when my youngest saw how big brother got metal forks he wanted them too and refused to use our plastic flatware. So of course i went back to what o ordered before and expanded our set. Now both boys feel like big kids using these great kid and mom approved sets.

We bought these for our 16 month old because we were looking for toddler forks that could actually pierce up food. The tines on all of the more popular kids sets that we tried were so chunky and blunt that our toddler would get frustrated when trying to use them, and end up giving up. These are great! We dont use the knives, but the forks and spoons are a nice size for her little hands, and the tines are sharp enough to actually function as a real fork. She is pretty careful about putting stuff in her mouth and doesnt wave them around violently (I can see how the tines *could* be a problem if your kiddo likes stabbing at things), so they arent too sharp for her. We also only give her foods that are soft enough where she doesnt need to use a ton of pressure to pierce them, so she doesnt need to have perfect pressure control or anything. Overall I also think she likes having real silverware that looks like what her dad and I are using instead of bright-colored plastic -- shes stopped trying to steal ours, which is certainly something.

Our little people love using these utensils. These utinsils fit perfectly inside their small hands and they are able to feed themselves well. The Annova utensils are also great quality and hold up well with use.

I purchased this flatware set because I began Introducing the Montessori philosophy of education into my home with my daughter. It suggests using real silverware and glasses etc. I’m still progressing to using a real plate but in the meantime, my daughter (22 months) feels like such a big girl with her real silverware. There’s a lot of clinking on her real glass cup but that’s all part of fun. They’re durable and perfect for her little mouth and hands. I purchased a second set after receiving the first and will likely buy more.

I’m very pleased with the cutlery! I got it for my granddaughter who is 2 and a half years old. She had no problem getting used to them and seemed to really like that she now has ’big girl’ spoon and fork, just like mommy and daddy. The cute little cat, dog and bunny on the handles made her very happy too. The size and weight are perfect and speak well of the quality. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy again or recommend this delightful set to my friends. I was also pleasantly surprised to receive a personal thanks for my purchase from the seller. Spoons are ok. Forks have sharp edges. Not good quality for kids.

These were surprisingly heavy! Real silver and not get cheap light ones. The animal engraved are so cute! Perfect size for my little ones. They love it and think the little butter knife is so cute. I ordered 3 sets of these and so glad I did!

Super cute and easy to use. There is only one drawback and that’s the knife’s ability cut well. We are very happy with this purchase.

This cutlery set is just right for a 3 year old child. The knife was a big hit. The sizing of all pieces is right for little hands. The grown-up look (not plastic) brought smiles.
