The Alcohol swabs that it comes with are 70% only. Don use them; throw them away. Unless your are diabetic and need to check your blood sugar regularly. These are useless for soldering. Use only 90% or more for any electronics.

This stuff is magic! With a solder pump, and following the directions, almost 100% effective in desoldering. Amazing.

I have soldering tweezers I can use for removing a lot of surface mount components, but I have to remove my iron to use them, so if Im only removing one resistor, capacitor etc..., cant get the tweezers into a tight space, or am working with a component that cant be removed with the tweezers, this stuff is incredibly handy, However, my most common use with it so far has been removing DC-in jacks, and headphone jacks from motherboards. It makes for a super quick and easy removal for anything with multiple pins.

This product works wonderfully when used according to the instructions. By lowering the melting point of the solder many types of parts are easily removed without special equipment. Then clean up the board and you can easily solder new parts back onto the board. The paste flux provided is wonderful and the board cleans up nicely after the faulty part is removed.

Ive used this in the past and it works great as always. Highly recommend. Used it to replace a Xbox One S HDMI connector.

Up until recently, Ive been desoldering chips the hard way. Painstakingly getting the soldering iron to temp, using a magnifying glass to see every pin or lead that needed desoldering, and doing it one by one. With this stuff? I can just apply the flux, use a bit of the low temp alloy and run the tip around to get things nice and warm, and surface mount chips just effortlessly brush away. This saves me so much time. I dont think Ill ever go without this stuff on hand again.

This is a great system! I was able to remove and replace a tiny 14 pin chip. I practiced a couple of times on another circuit to learn how this system works and to adjust my techniques. Final work, using their liquid solder (diluted! See You-tube) was perfect.
