> 24 hourDefinitely a must have for raising GH in Cichlid tanks. Doesnt deplete in my tank as fast as some other buffers Ive used. I use for my Tanganyikan Cichlids. I add a full dose when setting up new tanks and adjust as needed. For reference, my tap is 3-5dGH. A full dose for my 10 gallon raises this to 12-13dGH. I do 50% water changes every week. After 2 weeks its down to 9dGH so I mix a 1/4th dose bi-weekly with the new water and it goes back up to 14-15dGH.

> 24 hourSince adding the recommended dose of this salt, my fish seems to be happier and more friendly. As an added bonus my plants seem more vibrant. Perhaps a shortage of some mineral?

> 24 hourGreat product, I have a Frontosa, Mbunas, and Peacock Cichlids as well as a spotted catfish and all my tank mates are healthy and happy. I have been using this on every water change for over a year with no issues and no cloudiness. I always pour the salt into the sock filter so that it dissolves slowly and does not irritate the fish. I recommend using this product if you are serious about the well being of your cichlids. This is especially helpful if your tap water in your local area does not have a high PH as cichlids prefer a high PH.

> 24 hourWorks great for regulating your tank water ph used alongside Seachem Malawi/Victoria Buffer. It can clump up if you try and add it to cold water so what I do is fill a separate cup with fairly hot water and mix them in that first then dump that into my bucket of water I eventually replace my tank water with. This allows it to dissolve completely in the water without any clumping.
