Definitely a must have for raising GH in Cichlid tanks. Doesnt deplete in my tank as fast as some other buffers Ive used. I use for my Tanganyikan Cichlids. I add a full dose when setting up new tanks and adjust as needed. For reference, my tap is 3-5dGH. A full dose for my 10 gallon raises this to 12-13dGH. I do 50% water changes every week. After 2 weeks its down to 9dGH so I mix a 1/4th dose bi-weekly with the new water and it goes back up to 14-15dGH.

Good for aquarium maintenance if you keep african cichlids. Fish seen happy and adjusted in my fifty five gallon aquarium.

This is one of the many elements I add to my cichlid tank to keep them healthy happy and less agressive.

The cichlid lake salt helps stabilize the water condition to insure the health of the fish.

Since adding the recommended dose of this salt, my fish seems to be happier and more friendly. As an added bonus my plants seem more vibrant. Perhaps a shortage of some mineral?

Great product, I have a Frontosa, Mbunas, and Peacock Cichlids as well as a spotted catfish and all my tank mates are healthy and happy. I have been using this on every water change for over a year with no issues and no cloudiness. I always pour the salt into the sock filter so that it dissolves slowly and does not irritate the fish. I recommend using this product if you are serious about the well being of your cichlids. This is especially helpful if your tap water in your local area does not have a high PH as cichlids prefer a high PH.

Works great for regulating your tank water ph used alongside Seachem Malawi/Victoria Buffer. It can clump up if you try and add it to cold water so what I do is fill a separate cup with fairly hot water and mix them in that first then dump that into my bucket of water I eventually replace my tank water with. This allows it to dissolve completely in the water without any clumping.
