Installation under a pedalboard just takes a power drill and the right drill bit. Power supplied to my HX Stomp is made possible by a 3rd party cable, and is still able to run a couple of additional pedals with a few slots and a the USB port still available. Would buy another power supply from them again!

Exactly as advertised. It is quiet, well-built, and delivers. The cables supplied are appreciated though they do not supply cables, 8800 or 1002, that split or join. I had to order them from Sweetwater.com. Not expensive, just another task before getting things setup right. In all, a really nice product and I definitely recommend.

Greatest power supply EVER! (In fairness, I think the Strymon Zuma is basically the same tech) I cant tell you how many pedals Ive either ruined or written off as garbage because I apparently didnt understand how electricity works. :). If you use pedals, 90% of noise issues are because of power. STOP WHAT YOURE DOING! Just buy one of the CIOKS units. The headaches that it will prevent or fix are worth its weight in gold. Not having to worry about extra noise or finding the right transformer is saving me so much time and energy... It is honestly the best piece of gear I own (after my guitar and Boomerang pedal). As for which CIOK model... Ive researched them all pretty well and the DC7 is the best overall unit. 600ma per output will handle almost anything. Unless you just have a bunch of analog pedals (dont require more than 100ma) or if you know your exact power needs, the DC7 will cover you for almost anything. Im a real boy, not a paid actor. Seriously, this Im not getting paid or work for them or anything.

So I definitely feel that after I buy my next pedal Ill have to buy a new pack of cables. But the supply itself is awesome. Best of the best.

I originally was using a Donner power supply, but one day my BOSS pedal that was plugged into it. Stopped working? I couldn’t figure out what happened? I tried to fix the pedal, but no matter what I did, it just wouldn’t work anymore. After doing research. I found out the Donner power supply does not offer isolated power. It’s basically a daisy chain, so I figured somehow the power supply fried my pedal. I didn’t want to risk damage to any other pedal, that’s when I researched other better pedal power supplies. After a lot of research I went with the Cioks. Just for a laugh I decided to plug my broken BOSS pedal, and to my shock it worked again! It was like the Cioks gave it the jolt it needed. I also noticed all my other pedals seem to sound stronger like they too are getting more power. I’m am very happy with Cioks. I know it cost a lot, but as they say buy once, cry once. Save your pedals and yourself some headaches, and buy the Cioks. You won’t regret it.

I upgraded from the DC5 to the DC7 because I got a Kingsley pedal that required 500ma. The DC7 is an awesome power supply, with 7 isolated outputs at 9v/660ma you can power a lot of pedals. There are also other configurations available on every output with the switches. Super versatile in what it can do. And it fits under my Pedaltrain Metro 16 with room to spare. Just a great product. Will see how it does in terms of durability. My DC5 is still going strong after years of gigging, I expect the same from the DC7.

Limited Edition Red DC7

The CIOKS DC7 is an excellent and reliable power supply that works with standard low-current up to the most power-hungry effects pedals. Despite its slim one-inch profile, the DC7 provides a maximum of 48W from all its outlets. Thanks to its two-stage switch-mode power supply topology, DC7 achieves an ultra-low noise power. You can plug in high-current Eventide pedals without worrying about any unwanted hums.

The small-sized power supply features seven isolated DC outputs and an additional 5V USB outlet. You can connect the DC7 Power Supply with CIOKS 4, CIOKS 8, or other compatible units with 24V input voltage (via Flex Cables) if you want more isolated outlets.
