Classic Vintage Messenger Bag - Original Heavyweight Cotton Canvas Shoulder Bag with Upgraded Features

I wanted something for carrying toiletries for car trips. Big enough to hold regular bottles etc. Everything else was for 3 oz. containers. I also wanted something in canvas. It was everything I needed, and I could still use it for other purposes if necessary.

I really like this bag. It holds what I need it to. It has two decent sized side pockets big enough for sunglasses & a granola bar or two, or a water bottle. And on the inside it has one zipper pocket that I use to hold my keys, chapstick and other little miscellaneous things. The Velcro that keeps it shut is pretty sturdy but if the bag is heavy and you try to pick up the bag from the small handle on the back, the Velcro sometimes comes unattached and the bag opens. I’ve also had the bag for just under a month, using it in weekdays at work (at a school) holding my iPad and a binder and I’ve noticed the shoulder pad is starting to fray. I’ll probably sew it up but it’s kinda a bummer. Otherwise it does what I need it to.

Exactly what Ive been looking for and more! The fact that it is veteran-owned company (which I didnt even realize when I ordered it) makes it even more special to me (a U.S. Army veteran). Fast Amazon Prime service got it to me as promised.

Plenty of space in the bag for everything I need it more Um only complaint is that it could use a little more velcro to stay closed a little better. Only really a problem when theres some heavy items in it. Overall very pleased with my purchase.

Stitching comes out immediately. Buckle is rusting and I have only had the bag 6 weeks and used it once. I liked it because the main storage area is thick and didnt have a ton of pointless pockets but this thing is a piece of junk.

This messenger bag is perfect for what I needed. I wanted an unassuming camera bag that also could hold a few notebooks and misc. items. So far, it is working out great. The canvas is soft and forms well around my hip when being carried on my side. The padding on the strap is a bonus, although I don’t have much weight in it, it still helps keep the strap from cutting into my shoulder. The zippered inner bag holds pens and some extra film for the camera. Side pocket holds a vending size water bottle, a little too snug for my every day reusable screw top bottle. It will fit in one of the front pockets just fine.

Lost my beloved Kindle somewhere between Dallas and Chattanooga a few days ago. My own fault of course, but it made me wish this bag had a zipper or a better way to close it off. Still awarding it 5 stars, great bag for the price.
