Bought it as part of a costume. A clear trash bag worked better for the costume, but this probably does a better job for holding garments.

Just received my garment bag and it met all my expectations. It is even thicker than I anticipated, which is nice.

Perfect for keeping dresses and pantsuits clean and dust free. Reasonably sturdy.
