I have to take a steroid inhaler for asthma. Sometimes it will give me a feeling like I’m getting thrush in my mouth and back of my throat. Using this mouthwash after brushing when using inhaler helps keep thrush away. It leaves a nice fresh feeling in your mouth as well. It’s great for canker sores in your mouth as well. I highly recommend it..

My hygienist recommended this mouthwash and I am wishing Id found it sooner. I have mild gum disease and have lost a few teeth due to my struggle with bad genetics and my anxiety about dentists. My dental hygiene habits suffered over the years as a result. The harsh mouthwashes like Listerine and some of the others were burning my mouth and when Id use it at night theyd make the skin around my mouth break out and the corners of my lips were cracking. I just never felt like they really got my mouth as clean because by morning Id have even worse breath and felt like Id been chewing on batteries all night. So, I did not use mouth wash as frequently as I should have and you can guess the rest of it. Did you know brushing only cleans about a quarter of your mouth?? I have 4 crowns in my mouth and it can be a real pain to really feel like Ive gotten in there and handled business. CloSYS makes my mouth feel cleaner, for longer. I am not seeing the tartar and plaque build-up creep up as quickly and when I use this religiously at night and in the morning I rarely experience the bad breath I did using Listerine. YES, it does have a slight chlorine-odor/taste to it but once it gets in your mouth and youre swishing it around, it diminishes right away. It feels like cool water with a hint of mint. That taste does not linger. I felt like Id just gently rinsed with water, only my mouth was SO clean and stayed clean for hours. It may not cure cavities as some of the other reviews on here are saying but it will definitely put a big dent in the amount of bacteria and build-up forming in your mouth. There is a more mild version than this (but I doubt youll need it) and the senior version which I bought for my parents (and they love!). Long story short-- if you hate mouthwash and avoid it, try this instead. It is so gentle and works so much better.

Normally I visit my dentist 2 or 3 times a year for teeth cleaning but this year I went 12 months without a visit. Consequently, the dentist measured some deep plaque pockets in my gums and stated she may need to do a deep cleaning (which isnt covered by my dental insurance). I opted to have the dental hygienist do a standard cleaning and I would come back in 1 month to have my gum pockets remeasured. So, for 1 month I switched to a Phillips Sonic Care electric toothbrush and started using the CloSys product twice a day. To my astonishment, I noticed after 1 month of use I did not have the typical build up of plaque and tartar on the back side of my front lower teeth! It looked totally clean, just like the day after my last teeth cleaning. Amazing. When I visited my dentist for a follow up visit she stated my gums looked very, very good and I didnt need a deep cleaning. My next visit is in 3 months, so Im planning to continue to use this product until then and monitor my gums and tartar build up. Sure, my improvement may have been from switching to the electric toothbrush, but I honestly believe this mouth rinse had a bigger role in eliminating the plaque/tartar on my teeth. Why didnt any of my past dentists recommend using a bacteria-fighting mouth rinse to stop or reduce plaque/tartar build up? All I know, is after 1 month it seems this product has worked well for me!

Honestly, I dont know if this does anything, but it was recommended after oral surgery when my mouth was a mess. Its pricey, but if you have some issues or sensitivity in your mouth, I guess its worth a shot. Im about to start Invisalign treatment and Im glad I have it .. in case. When I mentioned it to my orthodontist, she said, Whats that? Go figure.

Used this before, recommended by my dentist. Flavor is mild and already added. Bottle is big and awkward, not ergonomic. I use the cap for dosing and it has this unfortunate paper stuck in it. Hope they change the packaging. The product is fine. Also should be fsa eligible

I have suffered from horrible canker sores for over 40 years, and have tried everything from silver nitrate (ouch!) to Kanka sore medicine (my old standby applied several times daily during multi-week breakout), various salt and peroxide solutions. Now I have discovered CloSYS and its truly a miracle - nothing else comes close. I use the toothpaste and rinse with mouthwash at first sign of a sore and within a few days GONE (before the sores get bad and painful). Sure wish I knew about this 40 years ago!
