Having tried a number of hooks, the Clover Amour are my favorite. Not only are they far more comfortable to hold and manipulate due to the handle (both it’s presence, and it’s composition), I find that the hook itself creates a smooth crocheting experience. I recommend these to every crocheter who asks.

So I never understood what the hype was all about when it comes to Clover hooks, or why people would pay so much money for something that you can get a lot cheaper from other brands... Untill my dog chewed up a handle on my most often used hook. So I decided to splurge, and OH MY GOD!!!! Now I see!!!!! The handle is just a handle, yes, its comfortable, yes, the sizing is engraved so it doesnt rub off, but thats true for just about any brand. The magic is in the hook itself, it is so perfectly rounded and pointed at the same time, and so smooth it laughs even at my most hated puff stitches!!!!! All the sudden all my other hooks seem completely worthless, I dont ever want to use any of them again and am gradually replacing my entire collection
