Clover Amour Steel Crochet Hook Set

I bought these to upgrade from my mix of aluminum Boye and Susan Bates crochet hooks. After crocheting for a little over two years and sticking with it, I believed it was time to finally get myself a set of quality hooks since my hand was always cramping up despite the stretches and breaks I took. These sell for $70 at Joans and so Im super happy with this purchase. They are comfortable and the grips are actually pretty fun to touch! I no longer cramp much since I dont have to grip as tightly! I love the variety of colors and would recommend this to anyone who want to upgrade to some quality handles. A nice surprise that was included is that they give you hook end covers within the set to protect yourself and the tip since its pretty sharp and delicate. Definitely worth the price and would be something that lasts for life!

I have recently gotten into micro crochet, and I started by using cheaper pairs of hooks from a random bundle on Amazon (example on left). They were seriously frustrating to use, and I wasn’t proud of what I was making. The sizing on offbrand hooks is also extremely inaccurate, which makes a huge when you are working on stuff this small.

These are very comfortable to use compared to steel hooks.

I have joint issues and I dont think I will ever use hooks other than those made by Clover. All hooks arrived clean and intact, in original Clover packaging as expected. I use these hooks making small ornaments and lace without much pain at all.

As with the aluminium hooks I found the hooks with the handles so much easier to use. Considering that steel hooks are quite fine the handles made it more comfortable for my hands and I would recommend them to anyone. I think they are well worth the cost and now I can continue my crocheting, which I absolutely love.

These crochet hooks are very comfortable to use, and very easy on the hands and wrists. I was unable to crochet for about five years because my hands would ache so much when using steel hooks. Thanks to these Clover crochet hooks with their soft handles, I have been able to crochet again.
