Havent used this yet, but the smaller ones I have I like very much. I cant imagine Id not like this one, too. Good design and reasonable price.

I really enjoyed making my large pom poms with this. It was the first time I ever used it and found it really easy to use, I just had to follow the instructions on the package.

I have own this item for a couple of years nowI Make and sale hats and I want them to look store bought . People always ask me do I make the balls on top myself and I SAY YES OF COURSE BUT WHEN i pull the pompom maker out to make one I always here WHAT IS THAT THING and I explain while I am working with . I have purchase the other sizes to and I have fun making them there is a certain number of rows I always use for all sizes when you get one you will see what I am talking about. This is the best one ever

Makes great XL pom poms. Easy to use. I have the other size pom pom makers and this works great when I need different sizes.

I own smaller pompom makers made by Clover and when I needed to make over-the-top large pompom I knew this was the brand to go with. I love how I am able to make large uniform pompoms and the markers (for multi-colored pompoms) and locking hinges are great features. Bottom line, if you need or want a large pompom maker, this is the tool for you!

Granted, you can do the same thing with a couple cardboard circles, but this is so much quicker because you dont have to pull yarn through the hole in the center. With this I can make a pompom in about 60 seconds, and they come out fluffy and perfect each time. Not... this is and Extra Large... check the measurements... it makes pretty enormous pompoms!

This pom pom maker produces fluffy balls you would pay upwards of $5 for in stores. I used it to make a huge rabbit tail, but it would look perfectly respectable/amazing on a hat or any other type of pom pom project. I watched a DIY on Utube showing this gadget and how to best use it. I didnt have too, because the directions that came with it were well written with lots of pictures. Still, I am glad I did, because I learned several helpful hints only experienced crafters know! I am a crocheter and love to make hats. Now I will save money by making pom poms myself. Besides, Spring is coming and Im sure Ill need more rabbit tails!
