CLOVER Hot Press Perfect Ruler

I’ve used this mainly for hems. I’ve found it especially useful for small measurements because it helps to be able to iron right over the press piece and not burn your fingers. I like it so well, I only wish I had one years ago. I bought one to gift to someone else who also sews.

This tool is perfect to get the right size seams

A must have for anyone sewing. Quality. You can press seams to the exact width. Unlike similar metal and plastic seam guides, this one won’t melt or get too hot to touch. And you can even use steam . . . when you press . . . your seam. Simple elegance. Can’t get better than that.

Ive needed something to help me measure turning hemlines and such for a long time, just havent bought anything. This tool is wonderful, and I can turn up the amount of fabric that I need to, then use the iron to press -- right on top of the fabric and tool -- ensuring that the hem is perfect all the way around the garment.

I’ve used this when I need to turnover an edge and don’t want to bother with a basting stitch. It’s easier and fewer burned fingers.
