> 3 dayI like the fact that this ripper has a nice large handle and nice sharp point. Because it is larger it is more comfortable to hold onto and I am less likely to lose it. I have lost a couple of smaller ones in the past. I have found that this ripper works perfectly for ripping general sewing projects with a regular sized stitch length, say at a setting of 2.0 on my sewing machine. Cons: If I am trying to undo stitching for a paper piecing project which has a stitch length of say 1.4 or 1.6, I find that this ripper is not fine enough and I really struggle to correct mistakes made during these projects when using this ripper. Also the cap is small and does not secure onto the other end of the handle (ie: like a pen cap), therefore the cap must remain lose, making it easy to lose. The cap is pretty necessary for storage since the end is sharp, so even though I havent lost the cap yet, I know it is somewhat inevitable which i find unfortunate.

> 3 dayWhen piecing or sewing seams, if the stitches are at 11 or larger, I usually use my ripper that has a blue handle. But if the stitches are smaller than 11, or if they were made on a longarm or sitdown quilting machine, this little ripper is indispensable. The blade is very thin and narrow, making it much easier to slip under the stitch to cut or rip the thread. It makes ripping so much quicker, that I actually bought 3 - one for the longarm, one for the domestic machine, and one for the iron. It is well worth the purchase.

> 3 dayI love this seam ripper! As a ballet costumer, I have a lot of alterations from season to season, so a good seam ripper is quite important. After using it many times over the past few months, it has stayed sharp. It fits well into a seam and is just sharp enough. Ive tried many other brands of seam rippers and this is by far my favorite. The only thing I would change is making the handle a brighter color, as it blends with the wood on my furniture.

> 3 dayA cap that wont break! Every other seam ripper cap gets shoved onto the bottom of the ripper, eventually the plastic breaks and you have to buy yet another seam ripper. That wont be the problem with this one (but there is the potential to lose the cap entirely). I like the length, and chose to make one improvement of my own: I found a pen grip that I slid over the top part of the handle. Now I have a non-slip grip thats terrific!
