> 3 dayPurchased 3 because this is my favorite seam ripper and you cannot find it in stores. You can get a good grip with the handle and thus control what you are ripping so it is done properly. I also use seam rippers to remove plastic from DVDs, sealed bottled and even the cats tangled hair. Somehow, over time, they get misplaced so I will be ordering more. Thanks to Amazon for making this product available.

> 3 dayBought two of these as I was tired of all the seam rippers I bought at JoAnn Fabrics breaking within a month of buying them. They need to stop using cheap steel. I have two from the 80s that are made of much better stuff but they arent as sharp as they used to be after 30 years of use. These are sharp and appear to be holding up to my Hulk-like seam ripping. Update: Been using this for a while. Its held up great and I still havent broke it. Bought two more I love it so much.

Greater than one weekSlips under tiny threads quite well; easy for me to hold despite slightly arthritic thumb joints. Cuts efficiently.

> 3 daySince the handle was flat, it didnt roll around in my hand, which my other older one did. Very sharp and precise.

> 3 dayI spent a bit more on this seam ripper because it looked like the handle was made of wood but its actually made out of plastic. It will serve its purpose but isnt as beautiful as I thought this tool might be.

> 3 dayThis has always been my favorite seam ripper. The handle is comfortable, it doesnt feel cheap, and most importantly, its perfect for detail work. As you can see in the picture, the business end is smaller than that of a standard seam ripper. This allows it to get into smaller spaces easier than a standard seam ripper. Its sharp and reliable, and great for all types of seams, but when it comes to removing fine hand stitches and embroidery stitches, you cant beat the little brown handle from Clover.
