> 3 dayI find the quality of Clover Takumi Bamboo needles to be very good, and this one is no exception. The needles are smooth, pointy, and the join between cable and needle is seamless.

> 3 dayThe Clover brand knitting needles are very easy to work with and glide nicely along the yarn while knitting. A quality brand.

> 3 dayBeing circular needles I did not expect to have an 8 or 10 inch needle but I did expect something more than 2 1/2 - 3 inches. Very hard for my arthritic fingers to use. The quality is great but just hard for me to use being so short.

> 3 dayNot all bamboo needles are the same. I love Clover. Their needles are long enough to be comfy and not awkward in your hands. The cable is stiffer...good for circular loop knitting as they dont get twisted or bent. The points are not sharp so you dont pierce your yarn. I have these in every size and every length. They are getting harder to find and I fear they may not be making as many anymore since most people like the interchangeable. I have the interchangeable and do not like them. Things get caught in the joint.

> 3 dayI’m making another shawl with this needle. The only problem I have is there was glue left on the wooden part. It snags the yarn once in awhile.

> 3 dayI got these needles because I wanted to try out circular knitting without spending a lot of money. I think theyre a good value for beginners, but probably wont be anybodys favorite. The joins between the cable and the tips are pretty smooth and sturdy, and I didnt have any problems with snags. The tips were well-made, not warped or splintered, but the finish is very grabby. Bamboo needles are generally higher-friction than metal, but these are even more high-friction than other bamboo needles Ive tried (like Crystal Palace dpns). This makes knitting with them feel more laborious than with needles that have a more polished finish. With these needles, I have to stop very often to push the stitches along the needles, whereas with my Addi Turbos, the stitches glide along much more on their own. This level of friction could be helpful to beginners, since it means theyre much less likely to drop a stitch, but knitters with more practice would probably prefer something that wasnt so grabby. Clover also makes a set of interchangeable circular needles, but they have the same finish as these needles, and thus I would not recommend that set, as I feel that a knitter would quickly outgrow them with increasing experience. A couple of these cheaper fixed circulars might be useful to learn on, but I feel it would be better to invest in a set with a slicker finish because they are easier on your hands over the long run.

> 3 daylove it, easy to use and durable. only the price is a little expensive but the item is made in japan so maybe thats why the price is higher, but with a good quality I guess it is okay to pay this price
