Clover Takumi Bamboo Circular 36-Inch Knitting Needles, Size 8

> 3 dayI originally got a pair of these because they also come in the 48-inch length, which I needed to do Mobius knitting, and I loved them so much Ive been getting more of them to fill in the sizes of double pointed circular needles I lack. I like the bamboo, which is tough and has a smooth surface that is as slick as plastic needles but not so slick as metal needles, which I think is just the right slickness. They hold up well to normal wear and tear. I also like that bamboo is a renewable resource, which plastic and metal arent. Theyre good value for the money. I do have to say that I have broken one of the needle points, but it was a size 2 needle, which are very slender. I had so many stitches on the needle that it was difficult to move the stitches around to the other side and the way I was holding the needle as I pushed the stitches around, I would probably have broken a plastic one as well.

> 3 dayIt took a while for the plastic cord to relax from its coiled state, but Ive been using this to knit a wrap and it works wonderfully. The wood needles are smooth and easy to grip. Even though Ive used it for chunky, worsted wool, I havent experienced any snags! Highly recommend.

Greater than one weekThe project arrived in good shape and was exactly what Id ordered...also came in good shipping time. I much prefer the bamboo needles to the metal as the points dont clatter while Im using them.

> 3 dayI love clover wood needles. They knit smoothly and have no metal parts that can catch on yarn.

> 3 dayEasy to knit with. However, they are taking on the color of the yarn.

> 3 dayIt is just what I needed. I have used Clover circular needles for many years, but I needed the 36 needle for this project.

> 3 dayThey arrived splintered and unusable. Thankfully Amazon replaced them for free. Not sure what is so great about these as they seem no different then the aluminum needles I had.

> 3 dayGot them to knit a cowl and after the first few stitches one of the tips snaped off. Usually this brand has great products, this was the first time where a needle broke for me. But now it’s just useless. Their older products were much hardier, it feels like this bamboo is cheaper than my older needles.
