I love these things! I do a lot of draping and alterations, and these clips are way easier to use than pins. No more poking myself when I’m moving too fast, or when I can’t quite see where my hands are (reaching up under a skirt or the like), and I don’t have to worry about anyone getting stabbed when trying on a pinned garment. They are also very quick and easy to remove when I need sew a tiny hem on the machine, and the pins/clips need to come out just before passing under the presser foot. Get the large green ones too. You’ll need them for thicker fabrics, holding together multi layered garments, and gathered waistbands.

I bought these to replace pins when sewing a costume made of fake fur. Not only were they a dream to use and a lifesaver (really keep the fabric in place), I swear they improved my seams and made everything more even. Im now wondering what other difficult fabrics they might work on. I bought the clover brand instead of a larger quantity of cheap ones because I wanted to be sure the quality was good. These clips are really nice. However, other cheaper versions may be just as good, Ive never tried them. But the clip concept overall is fantastic!

I almost exclusively use these wonder clips over sewing pins now. They are so easy to use, do not poke holes in my more delicate fabrics, and I dont have to worry about the direction or side I decided to put together before sewing. The little plastic box they came in is also well made.

Best clips for crafters, artists or hobbyists. Hold fabric, paper and little bits of felt, zippers, seams, multiple layers, soft things like fabric, hard things such as wood or cardboard. Useful in sewing, book making, jewelry, gluing, and pretty much anything that will fit between the jaws. Comes in a larger with longer throat style too that is just as good. The metal spring is so good. Durable and so versatile. Do not need pins for sewing and thus I do not poke myself and bleed on projects anymore.....Yes, I did this all of the time!

I had one set of Clover clips, really needed more. They are great to use for holding the binding as you sew. Not cheap, but also not cheaply made. Great quality item. Highly recommend Clover products.

I hate pinning. Leaving behind holes, losing pins in the carpet, pricking my fingers,... These are by far the best replacement. They hold on tight, even with very thin & slippery fabric (like double brushed poly) and super thick fabrics (I made slippers & lined blankets). Everything stays in place better than I can pin! The demarcations have different measurements. Im not sure how they are meant to be used, but I use them as a reminder to keep my seam allowance consistent. Id like to add that Im a novice sewist (going on 3 months) but I bought these for my mom (going on 40+ years) and she loves them! Shes diabetic and she doesnt need more pricking with while pinning.

I saw these in a national retail box store for $49 and thought there had to be a cheaper alternative, so I turned to Amazon and found them for just under $12. As soon as they arrived I tore open the package and set to work on my latest quilt. These are excellent for holding sets of fabric together rather then pinning everything. When I am quilting I like to lay everything out after I have cut all my pieces. I then use the clips to keep the pieces in the appropriate pile so I can just grab the next one and sew them together. They also work great when basting or adding the border/binding. However, while the price was great I have to say that like some others have posted not all my clips are functional. Right out of the box I had 5 that had no tension at all with a few of those having the metal clip wobbling loosely. After using them only twice I am now down another 3 that will no longer hold tension. With 16% of the product already worthless it seems to me that I should expect several more to fail before too long and probably should not expect to have them all last more then a few years. That is a bit disheartening. I understand nothing last forever and anything using tension as a method of holding is bound to have some loosening over time, to have 15%+ fail within a day or two is not at all acceptable. Even with that though this is still a fairly good product that DOES make my time at the sewing machine much easier. I would rather slide a clip off rather than undoingsafety pins or sticking myself every few minutes with a straight pin.

These are great! Ive been sewing all my life and had never tried these. They havent completely replaced pins for me, but they definitely have made certain things much easier. I absolutely recommend them. Pros: Super easy to use and do not require that much hand dexterity. Doesnt pierce or distort the fabric. Cons: Somewhat heavy when using lighter fabrics. Still need pins for some of the more delicate work. Takes some getting used to.

Easy to use, well-made from jewel-like plastic, these clips are, for some jobs, a worthy substitute for pins. In particular, for holding bias binding in place, which can be a prickly affair with pins, but not any more. These clips grip, rather than pierce the fabric, which might be important for some fabrics. They are supplied in a clear, easy to open box. Unlike bulldog clips these Wonder Clips remain tangle-free in the box, making them easy to select. I am sure these Wonder Clips will find their way into projects other than sewing. Their ease of use and versatility will soon have you forgetting about their price compared to a pack of pins. Brilliant product.

A little late to the party on getting these amazing clips!! I borrowed a few from a neighbor for mask making & quickly ordered my own set. These are THE BEST!! Easy to use, high quality metal & the case is perfect to keep them all together in. Great price compared to other retailers.
