Coding for Kids: Learn to Code Minecraft Mods in Java - Video Game Design Coding Software - Computer Programming Courses, Ages 11-18, (PC, Mac Compatible)

We got this course for our boys 11 and 14. The 14 year old likes it a lot. The course is challenging but he has been able to figure things out on his own. Our 11 year old has only done scratch style programming and gets stuck much easier. He needs a little more involvement from me or his older brother, but Having the chat option is great because you can get help from a real teacher. My boys are using this as curriculum for a homeschool coding class. Using minecraft as the basis gets them excited to work on it and motivates them to keep trying when they get stuck. I would recommend this to anyone who already likes minecraft and is interested in learning to code.

I love this online tutorial. My son has been bugging me everyday to get this card for him to do these tutorials so he can get better at coding, and what I like about it is that he doesnt need to have prior experience. My son loves these tutorials!!! I live that it has Live Mentor Support!!! Thank you!!! This is so easy to use!! If you have kids I would recommend it!!!

Very Easy to lern coding with makes it vewr simple ands understandable. Recommended for anyone interested in a very early start to creating mods

I bought this for my 12 year old niece in hopes that if her nose was going to be buried in a screen it would at least be buried in a screen teaching her something. She has learned an incredible amount in only a few days time. She hasnt used tech support yet but Im sure she will at some point and Ill update this review. I am thrilled with how excited she is about what she is learning to do, and I love that she cant wait to show me what shes learned. This is an all around good investment as far as the product, but the best thing I can say is it seems to have given my shy and sometimes bullied niece a boost in self-confidence, and that is no small matter.

This course teach you on how to do your hinge step by step, but don’t explain how to use and the tools are for.

Horrible. Please dont buy it. There are too many glitches.

Got this for my best friends 11 year old son who is REALLY into Minecraft. He was able to install easily and was off and running in no time. He said it was easy to understand most of it and he learned a lot. I love that he was learning some coding along the way, while doing something he really enjoyed. It may be better for like 12 and up because he did get stuck a few times but overall he was able to put it to use pretty quickly.

This is absolutely fantastic! I purchased this for my son because he loves minecraft and has been wanting to learn coding. This is a perfect tool to make learning fun and engaging. After a few lessons, my son is already coding and making mods for Minecraft. The instructions are easy to understand and follow, and best of all if you have questions, they have a chat support. Money well spent! Highly recommend.

If your kid is technologically inclined, get them this as an intro to coding!! Very user friendly, easy to install.

This program is absolutely amazing, if you can operate a computer you can learn how to code for Minecraft with this. I got this for my son because hes been begging me to learn how to code and make mods for Minecraft since he was six, at eight hes a little young for it and still needs some help. but the resources theyre providing, the instructions have made it so I, who doesnt even know how to play Minecraft, can easily help him with any part he doesnt quite understand. And on top of that they have chat help if we needed it.
