> 3 dayDue to ongoing dental work, I have some sensitivity, which this seems to help a little. Im iffy on the taste, but thats my reaction to the taste of Colgate; Im the same way with Crest. I dont see any whitening, but I wasnt expecting any. Whitening toothpaste can handle stains but doesnt add new enamel thats worn away, which is the source of my yellowing. Dont drink colas for decades, people! Phosphoric acid is an enamel killer.

> 3 dayI have been using Colgate Total toothpaste for years and it is the toothpaste my dentist gives me at every checkup. I like the Clean Mint taste the best but that is a personal preference. This paste seems to clean well & it does not irritate my mouth or even my husbands mouth - he has sensitive teeth/gums. My gums are very healthy and never bleed. This seems to be the same ingredients as the regular Total so this might just be a new package of a current product? There are only 5.1 ounces in this tube.

> 3 dayIm an original Colgate user, so being able to try out Colgate Total Whitening looked pretty interesting. Positives: Colgate Total Whitening has a much more minty-fresh taste than regular Colgate which makes my teeth and breath feel really clean. Love how the tube is actually recyclable and hope Colgate rolls that out to all of their toothpaste. The active ingredient helps fight cavities, gingivitis, and sensitivity. Negatives: Im not a dentist, but pretty sure nowhere in the description does Colgate specifically say This toothpaste will whiten your teeth. Thats because there is no actual teeth whitening ingredients anywhere in the toothpaste (no hydrogen peroxide or carbamide peroxide listed). For example, Crest White Strips include hydrogen peroxide as the active ingredient for teeth whitening. This toothpaste doesnt have any of that. Overall, for $9.99/2pack this is still a great toothpaste and price point as long as you dont expect it to whiten your teeth, only to protect your teeth from cavities, gingivitis, and sensitivity.

> 3 dayI’m a long time user of Colgate toothpaste. I stopped using it after the whole unsafe triclosan thing. I’m happy to see that they’ve reformulated with a different antiseptic - which I think really makes a difference in my mouth. It has fluoride, as usual. This toothpaste is minty, but not too minty. It works well to clean my teeth. I haven’t actually noticed any additional whitening. It has sensitivity relief, but my teeth don’t tend to be sensitive too easily so I can’t comment on this feature. This toothpaste came in a sealed box as a two pack.

> 3 dayThis toothpaste is amazing! Comes from a well-known, long trusted retailer. I love the way it leaves my mouth feeling minty-fresh! It lathers well and does not feel gritty. Dispenses easily and the tube is designed well. You can either keep in a drawer or sit up on a countertop on the flat lid. My husbands teeth are usually sensitive but he does well with this toothpaste. This is also a great value pack with 4 tubes included.
