Love this umbrella. Opens nicely one handed. Very sturdy and like it’s fiberglass or carbon fiber shaft, feel safer in Florida lightening!!!

I bought this umbrella because someone stole my old one and when I first got this I was super impressed with it. The colors were vibrant (and even had more colors than my last one) and it seemed like a good quality umbrella. That was until I dropped it the other day, even though it was only from hip hight, it tore a huge chunk out of the leather handle. Now I have to figure out how to get all that crap off and put something better on it or replace the handle altogether.

Had it for a couple of years but used it just a handful of times, stored well, handled well. One rainy day I tried to close it and the ribs would not slide up the pole, no matter how I wiggled. I started pushing a bit harder and brrrrtt, the pole ripped right through the plastic mechanism and fabric cap at the top. Even now the ribs wont return to folded. I think the plastic parts at the top are at fault, and that the fabric was just not designed to ever be stressed right there. Ive had plenty of umbrellas that failed in the ribs, this is a new case for me. In any case Im out an umbrella.

Its beautiful and sturdy (although I havent had to use it in severe wind yet, so I cant attest to that), and the fold/unfold action is smooth and easy.

This is the happiest thing I own! I live in Taipei where it rains almost constantly during the winter. This thing is a solid as a rock. I had one in perfect condition previously, but someone else seemed to like it as much as I and made off with it at a bus stop on a rainy night. I have bought three of these as I see people who want a little bit of sunshine in their lives, so I gift them my umbrella. In a place that gets over 200 inches of rain a year, it is a must have. Sturdy, reliable, stays clean and attractive. It is awesome.

Vibrant, very large, smooth operating. I bought this umbrella because my organization meets at a building with, like 15 entrances and I wanted a really easy, conspicuous thing to hold to show people which door to enter. So I stand outside, spinning it on my shoulder, to make sure everyone knows where to go. And of course, its lovely in the rain, too!
