These reading glasses are fine for leaving one in every room, so you can just nab a pair if you want to read something. Although the Amazon ad says theyre for men and women, theyre a little wider than the ones I usually get, so they feel loose on me, although theyre fine for my husband. The frames are lightweight, and the ear piece have some flexibility at the joints, to lessen the changes of breaking under minor stress. These glasses are great if you want quantity at a decent price (although I admit that I have found metal framed reading glasses that I like a little better at the Dollar - now Dollar-and-a-Quarter - Store).

Something not mentioned clearly is that you also receive six glasses sleeves for these glasses, which helps protect the lens when traveling. The glasses are built sturdily, hinges operate smoothly (but not loosely) and the glasses fit nicely onto the face. My favorite is the matte black. Lenses are super clear to look through.

They have a light tint but it is not distracting. I have used them for a few days while working and everything is good. I go thru a lot of readers and these are pretty decent ones.

The spring hinge is great! I have broke so many glasses without the spring hinge. The lens are so clear unlike others I have used.
