In the photo, you see my old drum unit (by Linkyo) next to the new drum unit (by ColorKing). As background, the drum unit holds the toner cartridge. The drum unit should last 4-5 times as long as the toner cartridge (you will replace several toner cartridges before you need to replace the drum unit). When I opened the box, there were two drum units, each individually wrapped in a sealed, thick plastic wrapper and further protected with a tight-fitting foam inside the box. I assume that the drum units traveled safely with all this protection. I replaced a Linkyo drum unit with this ColorKing drum unit. A Linkyo toner cartridge fit perfectly into the ColorKing drum unit, and the drum unit & toner cartridge together fit perfectly in my Brother MFC-L2740DW printer (my toner cartridge was relatively new, so there was no need for me to replace the toner cartridge when I replaced the drum unit). The print quality was perfect. When I installed the drum unit, I did not get any error messages or other issues (which is my greatest fear when I install a third party toner cartridge or drum unit). In other words, this very inexpensive replacement drum unit worked as if it were made by Brother, but for a fraction of the cost. I cannot comment on the drum units longevity because I just installed it. The printer has a page counter that tells me that a drum unit should have a life of 12,000 pages (which is not based on how good the particular drum unit is; that is merely a counter for the expected life of the drum unit), so if all goes as planned, I will not be installing the second drum unit in the box for a long time.

Ran out of toner on my HP and ordered this two-pack because it was cost effective versus the OEM alternative. Follow the directions when installing (shake the toner as instructed before putting in its proper place). Printer does some initial whirring but was ready to go after less than a minute. Prints just fine. No difference in print quality that I can see versus the original HP cartridge. Not sure how many pages I will get out of it but time will tell. So far, so good!

Couldn’t find a toner locally, went on Amazon and found this toner…GREAT price and comes with plenty of ink!! Worked immediately after connecting to our printer! Will order from here again

This toner is as good as the OEM product or better and at a fraction of the cost. Highly recommend if youre looking for an inexpensive replacement cartridge for your machine.
