Charing works but data sync will not connect no matter the trouble shooting

Worked perfectly for my PSP, was able to charge and access files from a PC using the cable.

It charges just fine, but data transfer doesnt work.

I have lost my PSP GO cables over the years and needed some to replace the ones I lost. I bought this for my on the go PSP GO, I have a home one too. After getting this I was really impressed with the cable, looked and felt like the original cable plus had the notch in the USB A end so I could use my stock charger without modifying my charger. Chargers just like the OEM cable. The screen protector was an added bonus, just wish it was a glass one like were use to today. But still a good screen protector for minor things.

Was sent wrong cable.

When I received the cable it charged my system perfectly. Unfortunately, I needed the cable to also allow my device to be read by my PC—this, it did not do. I tried to connect the PSP Go to a Win10 Desktop PC (tried 8 different USB ports), a Win10 Laptop (tried 4 USB ports), and a Linux SFF PC running the latest version of Ubuntu Budgie (4 different ports) and had zero luck. Try a different vendor if you need data transfer capabilities, unless I just lucked out and got a bum cable.

Got the cable today, I have another that looks identical but wouldnt do data, but this one I ordered definitely does (see photo). Cable is thicker than some of the others that I have ordered but the included screen protector is basically useless.

Title says it all

I was able to play games From 12 years ago I’d almost forgotten existed! Seeing the kids play the psp go over their Nintendo ds’s makes me smile, if you need a charge cable, these guys will take care of it!
